Realtors -Sales People & Companies

Real Estate Sale persons may also be called Realtors after they have passed some classes in Real Estate Sales. Some Realtors specialize in specific areas such at Condominiums, Commerical and even Industrial Sales and then, many will also break their expertise down by areas or communities. It is important to feel comfortable with the person you are working as it is your money that they are helping you to spend.  Remember, the salesmans loyalty is to the seller of the property and not to you.  It is the seller that pays the commission.  There is an exception, and that is that you may find a buyers representative who works just for you. One more bit of advice.  Take the time to familiarize your self with the going prices based on recent sales in the area that you are interested in.  If you come from a higher priced market area to Fort Lauderdale, then most properties will seem like a bargin to you and you may pay more than you had to just because you were not informed on local prices.  That same senerio may also work in reverse.
